Hello guys...

i just bought a new 3g 10gb ipod. First time when i turned the ipod on, it worked fine; but once i connected it to the comp, the problems started to begin. I am using Windows XP PRO.

Well all in all...now my ipod doesnt start up..it shows the apple logo and then it shows the folder with "!"

I tried formatting it doesnt seem to work..it completed almost the whole format and then it says "Windows couldnt complete the format"

i also tried formatting in dos..it said "Track 0 bad - disk unusable."

according to some of my searches on ebay..it says that means the boot sector is screwed...

i realllyyy wana use my ipod...please help! i need to format it somehow and then restore...but HOW?
please help guys
