Live IRC (real time) iPod chat!
Hello all!!
I've taken the liberty to start an iPod channel on the Macnn IRC network.
To access this you will need an IRC client.
For Windows please download mIRC: http://www.mirc.com/get.html
For Mac users download X-Chat Aqua: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=62257&release_id=172476
Server: irc.macnn.com
chan: #ipod
Once you install the client type at the console:
/server irc.macnn.com
once you are connected type:
/join #ipod
Ops have already been chosen so do not op beg, but please come, relax and enjoy your self!

Fair enough, I don't quite agree with the reasoning, but I do understand it and as I'm grateful that ipodlounge exists, wouldn't want anything to jeopardize its existence.
Will try to log onto IRC tonight - have a EUpod, WinXP US and a couple of versions on Linux installed (getting my feet wet - a beginner, but the command line does not frighten me). Also I usually use an external Firewire drive with my setup.

Umm, where do we now discuss the volume issue fix then? Only on the IRC channel?
