Ipods undocumented REPEAT and SHUFFLE icons...
After looking through the iPod manual, these forums, AND Apple's site, I finally figured out what the little icon of two drumstick-looking things under the battery icon on my iPod means. It is the icon for SHUFFLE ON.
REPEAT has its own icon as well, apparently.
Is this really not documented?
Weird.

I havnt noticed those icons on my pod. Gotta check it out.
I think I saw some drumstick icons in the manual, when I looked it over, but I may be wrong... hmm

I too haven't checked the documentation...but I did notice the icons when I switched the shuffle and repeat on.

I think the reason it's not documented is that the icons are essentially smaller versions of those used by iTunes. The "drumsticks" are arrows crossing each others' path.

Yeah, okay.
The one that looks like a oval is repeat. If it has a letter o on the left side, it's set to repeat "one", if not, then it's set to repeat "all". Fairly obvious symbol, really.
The shuffle icon is not a cross. It's two minuses on the left side and two pluses on the right side. The bottom minus is connected to the top plus, the other two are not connected. As far as I can tell, there's no difference between shuffle songs or albums reflected in the icon. A bit of a non obvious symbol, I suppose, but clear enough.
