I'm using MMJ w/ Windows XP.

I charge my iPod via a dock and firewire. Once I put it on the dock, I would always unmount the iPod so the drive would not spin while charging. However, when I'm done with the charge, and if I want to mount the iPod again (right-click on iPod Manager and choose Mount iPod), it will not mount. I would have to pull the iPod off the dock and then put it back on.

Anybody have this problem and know why it does that? Is there a fix for this?
