10GB iPod Question
K here's the scoop...after 5 replacements apple finally is giving me a NEW 10gb ipod (dock version)
I had a 5GB...my question is i use the iPod at school and at home on my stereo. Without the dock i am lost...i usually plug my pod in and use it on my stereo but i dont have $40 to shell out for the dock. Does the 10gb come with an ac adapter and if so how does it work?

The dock port is really a multipurpose port. The AC adapter plugs into the firewire cable, just like the other ipods, and that plugs into the dock port (because the ipod is now connected to everything through a proprietary port).

So i can still connect it to my wall outlet, eh? Good deal...now the B#### is gonna be connecting an disconnecting my cable from the comp and to the wall...grrr
