Best way to Saran wrap my iPod?
Hi, I just bought a new 10 gig iPod for a trip to Alaska. So far I love it! I plan on ordering a Marware case when they are available, but I will already be traveling before they go on sale (:(). I do have a Case logic MP3 player case that I used for my Rio500. The case looks like it would scratch my iPod, so I temporarily plan on saran wrapping it before it goes in the case.
My question is: What is the best way to saran wrap my iPod? I tried it and I can't seem to get a smooth fit and sometimes it prevents the buttons from working.
Are there any other temporary proctection ideas? If i wrapped the iPod in a piece of silk before putting it in the case. would that work?

I used palm covers on my ipod. Took two of them and covered the back of the ipod the long ways. Think I might cut one to fit the screen as well. I didn't cover all of the silver, just the may area that would be most prone to scracthes as it moves about. Also keeps those pesky fingerprints off the silver. Seemed even when I had just washed and dried my fingers it was getting fingerprinted. The back of my ipod could have been used to check my background with the FBI.
