Surprisingly sturdy ipod

Yesterday i was taking a flight of stairs rather quickly and tumbled down about halfway, ending off with a fractured arm :( my ipod on the other hand fell out of my hand (near the top i think) and tumbled all the way to the bottom, after i got back from the hospital i was pleasently surprised to find my ipod (15 gig 3rd gen) still worked fine, i returned it today anyway as the fall put an unsightly scratch on the back, i love extended warranties :D

Yeah, its no suprise that the iPod is actually a lot more durable than it looks. You might even say that the outside chrome casing and lucite faceplate is more delicate than the mainboard and hard disk on the inside.sraphim at 2007-11-15 14:18:25 >
