volume limits in canada ??
we now all know that the ipods volume is limited in europe due to the european laws.
that's why i want to buy my ipod outside europe.
does anyone know if the ipod in canada has this limit too ??
because a friend of my brother has moved to canada, so i could ask him to buy me an ipod and send it to me.
i hope some people in canada can help me out with this.

AFAIK, the iPod's sold in North America are not subjected to the volume limitation...

No, no limits here.
I have a 3G/30G, bought in Canada.
The volume can go much higher than I'd ever set it.

he, thanks for your response.
another thing that's different from canada and europe is the power supply. so what i was wondering... the power supply that is delivered within the package, is that for powering up the ipod directly (when your travelling, cause i assume you don't take the docking station with you) or is the docking station also connected with a powersupply?

You won't have any trouble with the power supply.
It connects to either the docking station or the iPod directly, and it handles both North American and European electrical currents - like most computer power supplies do.
Of course, the actual shape of the plug is North American... so you will need an adaptor to change the flat prongs into your funny round ones (or whatever).
