are you willing to pay for v2.0 for old ipod?
ive been thinking about this for a very long time.
would you be willing to pay a small amount to get v2.0 either as a cd or download?
I would personally do aslong as it doesnt surpass 50CAD$ as I really want that playlist on the go badly

I wouldn't pay!

I don't think I would pay either. The features in v2.0 are not essential, just added bonuses.

It'd be worth $25 for me to be able to have OTG playlists.

I'd pay $10. That would cover the price of the CD, plus a little for Apple. But realistically, I don't think Apple would ever do it. The features are meant to make the new iPods look appealing. If older iPods had OTG playlists Apple wouldn't sell half as many of the new 'Pods.

OTG playlist is an amazing feature and although I wouldn't pay for it I would hope that apple updates the firmware for the classic OLD ancient ipod...

Well, after buying my Old gen 10gb less than a month ago then seeing the new ones come out, not only could i have got a new gen one, i could have got my 10gb for ?130 off!! Dang! Thats not good! Considering that, i wouldnt pay for 2.0, but i would really really like it!
Oh go on then, perhaps ?10 or so... ;) No more tho!

i wouldn't pay for it. if it weren't us who bought the first gen ipod, apple wouldn't have been able to produced the new ipod. therefore, apple should give up the firmware 2.0 free of charge and with those bugs fixed!:D

?10? $25? I thought it was more important to you guys than that. If you wouldn't pay as much as you'd pay for a top-of-the-line case or earbuds, then it can't be so important. Maybe Apple have done market research and don't think it's worth it? Maybe the impact on battery life would pi$$ people off

I wouldn't pay. There is nothing that the new ipod's do that I want or need, except for aac suport and that won't come for windows users who don't want to fiddle around to make it work for some time now. As for the extra games, I don't even play the game that is on there now.
