buying an ipod in Sarasota, Florida
Hi there,
I'm off on holiday to Sarasota in florida soon, and was looking to take advantage of the good GBP/USD exchange rate and buy an ipod while there.
Can anyone recommend a good place to but a 15gb ipod in the Sarasota / St. Petersburg area?

Having just returned from Tampa, I think I would go to somewhere like Best Buy and maybe even take out their extended warranty -
If the Apple 1 year warranty really is worldwide there'd be no problem getting it fixed in the UK, then if it went wrong after that I could send it back via friends who live there.
They were selling the 15gb @ $399 + 7% tax =$426.93 so with an exchange rate of $1.55 you'd end up paying ?275.
A saving of ?24!

Hmm...forgot about the sales tax...taking that into consideration, not such a great saving...anyway, I'll have a scout round and see what's available.
