Time left for song not always correct

Does anyone else observed this problem. It doesn't always happen but there's cases where the song is clearly going to finish in the next 5 seconds and does yet the time left timer thinks there's another coupke of minutes to go!

Also not sure if related but some tracks are cut short when playing?

Have you checked the original track you got the MP3 from?
Some tracks do have a long silence after them before they finish - bit like the gap between the last song and any hidden tracks. It may be this that you are seeing?

Are they VBR MP3s? It is possible that the total time calculation is confused on VBR songs. (just guessing)

The tracks are Mp3 pro VBR so maybe that's why?

They sound fine on the PC without any long gaps at the end. I don;t mind if the counter still has 5 secs to go and it's silence, that's understandable. It's when the song is still pumping away and it switches to another track. The original on the PC does not do this ?

UPDATE - I've just read an article that say's this bug has been fixed in update 2.0.1, ie time left on VBR inaccurate.
