I have several live albums on my iPod and I was wondering if there is any way I can listen to the albums without the pause between the tracks. It is not that big of a deal but can be annoying.

Not possible. On CDs, when they are encoded, they have a 0-second gap between the tracks, that is why it is non-skip.
