Whats Sound check?

WHat does sound check do in your ipod? I can't seem to tell any difference whether this option is on or off.

It is a volume leveling option that works in conjunction with iTunes.

In other words - it is a "Mac only" feature.

Check out this Apple Knowledge Base article ( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61655). Since I do not personally use Sound Check, it'll answer your questions better than I can. ;)
