clicking on gen 3 ipods?

when the hold switch is off and i hold the ipod to my ear i can hear clicks that go in a patern...3 clicks then 1 long one....it isnt the hard drive... does it happen to yours?

It happens to mine too.Also, use any of your touch buttons or scroll wheel while you hold the unit close to your ear, you'll also hear a screeching sound. Turn on the backlight and all this goes away.

yep same to mine...also when its plugged in to the wall i doesnt happen either.lilmoonee at 2007-11-15 14:18:05 >
