Overnight Storage/Dock

just seeing if i left the dock plugged into the ac adapter in my wall w. my ipod in the dock overnight hurting anything. i figure its always keeping it charged since its docked at night, which after charging does it just sit there and not get hot? i use the ipod during the day and I just dont want to mess it up.

I do it, although not every night...

What I will tell you, in my experience, once its charged it just says "charged" and then doesnt continue to charge anymore... If you left it there long enough it would drain the battery, but not charge itself back up... This is what i've experienced, maybe others have different experiences...

you should be fine. Since it's not plugged in to the computer, there's no risk of the HD spinning up. I've been doing exactly what you're talking about and have had no problems.

just in case you plug it into your computer, if you unmount the iPod, it will not spin up.
