If theres any pod owners out there who before getting a new ipod had a 2nd generation model please read this because u can make the comparision:

Do u notice the sound of the new pods (Euro versions) to be flater and unbalanced to the originals. I have used all the same equipment to rip and transfer MP3s to my pod and my new one has subtle differences compared to my old pod, and play back thru my pc or any other music player for that matter.
Someone at Apple was telling me that maybe when they had to decrese the sound due to the new laws in europe they might of cut corners. Im not to technically minded about it all, but from what i understand, when they decreased the volume, the sound quality might of been sacfiriced.

Theses differencies are very small, but I ask people to find a tune they no very very well and to listen to it on new and old ipods. Then Ill know its my ipods faulty or not.
