Preamp/AUX Question
Hey,
Im getting an Aiwa-Z137 reciever for my car.

It has rear preamp outputs and a 3.5 mm RCA jack in the front. Can i use the preamp jacks in the back to hook up my ipod through the belkin charger kit and a 3.5 mm headphone to RCA input cord and into the back preamp outputs?

no! do not connect your ipod to the preamp outputs unless you want to fry your ipod. well, maybe not fry but cause damage ;) . anyways, the preamp outputs are used for external amplifiers. they can only send signals. you can however use the front aux inputs. just use a 1/8" to 1/8" patch cable to connect the output of the belkin charger to the head unit.

Thanks,
thats what i thought, so i ordered the mini to mini plug with the aiwa receiver. It won't be as neat, but at least its easy to hook up and cheap.
