How do I connect iPod to my car?

I have a 2002 Mercury Sable GS. The stock stereo is the only thing that I can use (I can't get an aftermarket because it will look really bad). I have a Rear Control Unit in the back of my car that I could plug a 6 Disc CD Changer into. How can I spend less than $77 without using a FM Modulator to connect the iPod to my car? For $77 I can get an adapter that will plug into my Rear Control Unit and create RCA Cables. Is there another way to do this that would be cheaper?

there is also a company called RCA input. However, both these are your $77 solution range. I've been hunting a cheaper way for quite a while and haven't found one, other than trying to build something yourself. There is not enough demand to have a 'off the shelf' item that converts the 1/8 inch headphone or line out from an ipod type device to CD input on the various automobile audio sets - plus each car or audio manufacturer seems to have their own different plugs.
