in car cassette problem
Hi, I just borrowed a Sony cassette adapter for my car. I think it was originally for a CD player but I was told it would work on an iPod as well. The music was playing fine, but after about 10 seconds the cassette starting making a clicking sound, as if trying to change sides, and then after 2 clicks the cassette would eject. Does anybody have any idea whats going on or how to solve it?
And another question, do the FM transmitters work any better, how do they compare to cassette adapters?
Thanks

A cassette adaptor should give you better sound than a FM transmitter, plus you won't have to fiddle around with choosing a station. Some stereos are fussy about what cassette adaptors will work; try buying a different model from a place that will allow returns, you'll be able to check it out in the parking lot before you leave.
