Ipod Truck install experience.
My dream has come true. Not 2 weeks ago I didnt own an Ipod. Now I am a complete Ipoholic. After getting the Ipod I knew I needed true cd sound in my 2000 Dakota. The default head unit would never work. Pay 70 dollars for an adapter? Screw that. I applied that to my new Panasonic head unit.
I found Hi-Fi Buys(Owned by Tweeters) to be the best spot and had them install the stereo, plus have the Belkin hard wired inside the dashboard.
*Warning on the whole Ground Loop discussion*
I put the GSI isolater in and it turned my sound into garble. I could barely make out anything. I unhooked the GSI and it became perfectly clear. From reading the forums IT appears that the ground loop is caused by either the grounding of the belkin/lighter adapter or your headunit. Hi-Fi grounded my belkin so I am definitly not getting the sound problem.
My Dakota has this really cool lip at the top of the dash board that allows me to hang my Pod and I can change songs and still see the road! I can honestly say I am rdy to die. I have completed everything I want.

My wallet is more empty but I cant even begin to figure out how I got by without my Ipod.

Yeah it was a quick job. Make sure you maximize the window and it should work.

Guess I got carried away. Those pics are from a 5 megapixel Olympus. I am not sure why your having problems. I just tested the link on one of my computers with a 15 inch and it looked fine. Just make sure you maximize and it will auto fit.
