Im thinkin that it would be so tight to have an ipod and phone in one. That way there isn't too much bulk in your pockets.

no way, it would be huge. However, i was thinking that it would be simply awesome if apple made a cell phone. Why you may ask?a small phone that used all of today's high tech features, as well as sleek white looks and computer syncing. Not only that but apple's best feature throughout everything they make is usually their interface for their electronics. think of how easy a cell phone with apple software would be to use!!

If apple made a Phone that synced with the comp's I only see three things that syncing would allow you to do. To download ringtones, to set up calenders and other events, and to upload files. Infamouschitlin: My Nokia synchs up with my laptop over the infrared port. I have custom ringtones that I made from midi files, my calendar and all phone contacts, etc.Yes I do think having all this AND an iPod-quality mp3 player would be very very tight indeed. And in truth, I'm certain someone is already working on it. I'd easily deal with the size to replace my phone, PDA, and iPod all in one device.
That said, a simple firmware upgrade to improve the categorization of contacts and calendar features would be welcome.

yeah guys, I got the idea from a pop up that I get everytime I go to hotmail.com to open up my email. Its this nokia handheald that is a mp3 palyer text machine and phone in one. Yet it costs 200$ plus service. I think that somethinglike tha tIs probably only abole to hold like 25 songs. SO Im thinkin that a hardrive with a phone that would be compact would take the cake

MY old Siemans phone had an mp3 player on it, 128mb I seem to remember. For me the combination was perfect, I hate having my pockets full of different kit so a combination of Ipod and phone would be absolutely spot on in my opinion when they figure out how to make it small enough.I was loathe to upgrade my phone because it meant losing the mp3 player. For the time being I just have to put up with carrying around both the phone and Ipod.
