PVP (Personal Video Player)

Sup all,

1- I believe in the next gen of ipods, it will have a biger screen and be able to playback videos. I do not own an Ipod or a mac but people have been saying that Apple sells videos on the Itunes. So why shouldn't the ipod be PVP? And on top of that, lots of compagnies are jumping towards PVP's. So far there's only Archos, Lyra and Smartdisk and TBA the release date are Microsoft and IBM (if not intel).

2- Also,it should either have voice reconition or a lcd display on the remote control.

3- I think 40GB is good enoughfor me and i I think it wouldn't be possible to be bigger without being bulkier until at least 5th Gen.

4- And battery life could be improved.

Thanx All 4 reading

I don't think Apple is going to make the iPod a PVP, at least not anytime soon. I think they veiw the iPod as a music player. I wouldn't be suprised if they released a seprate PVP but I imagine they will always have a dedicated music player (until the technology is so far along that things like screen size, resolution, hard disk size, battery life for color screen and price aren't nearly as big an issue are they are now.)

PVP would be a bad idea. It would ruin the entire personality of the iPod, which is simplicity. I know I certainly wouldn't buy one.

I think they would because lots of companies are heading that way. Even microsoft made an OS for the companies want to make a pvp. But it would be kind of great to have a PVP the size of and iPod. But i think it's gonna roatate and have a wide screen. And when it comes out, if a good price and good reviews bout it, i will get it.

Why isn't there are 'both' option? Many of us have both a PC and a Mac...

It's a multiplw choice answer thing.

So if you have Windows, Mac, and someother OS, you could choose all 3 of them.
