Is the font used in the forums too small?
This is to get an idea about how many people think the font used in the forums is too small.

I think it's just fine. I feel if you have a problem with it, Get Glasses!:D

Timmy, driving wouldn't be as much fun though if I could see what's going on. ;)

I believe the font size is perfect as it is... :D

You know most browsers have a button to make text bigger.

Yes, but as discussed earlier, IE 5/6 for Windows has a bug which will not allow it to resize text when the font sizes are set in CSS pixels sizes.

Use XP's magnifier tool... heehee :D
# 8 Re: Is the font used in the forums too small?
font size could use a small bump, the main problem i encounter is the orange type in the subject listings of the forums are hard to read against the white. it can be done, but a bit more strain than necessary. could they be changed to black?

Well im not sure what you mean about the text size option.. I have Internet Explorer 6 on XP and going to View -> Text Size works fine for me.
Mine is on medium and the test size is good thanks!

It's in Safari for OSX as well...as a menu option or as two extra buttons on the toolbar. IE for OSX has it as a menu option.

I think that the size is normal... I have adequate vision (-1 each eye)... but I can read the text perfectly without contacts... I like the colour scheme, and the size... although, I do agree that a size 72 font would be better (jk)

Yeah, I agree with you. The color scheme is pretty cool... ;)

More then the font size I think the orange buttons and white lines are too much. It is all very distracting and hard to easily focus and scan a thread. Also the placement of the orange buttons seem to be in a bad spot. They are at the bottom of a post which puts them closer to the name of the next post which is all confusing and not easily recognized with all the white lines. Anyhow thats my opinion and for what its worth it is keeping me from posting and even reading as often.

Would you please make the font smaller? ;)
