Problem with time zones

This might be a daft one, but I am getting a little confused with times. I am living in Hong Kong and therefore have set my time to GMT + 8 and I see the following on the screen about a minute ago

All times are GMT +8 hours. The time now is 05:06 PM.

In fact it is not 05.06pm but 14.06 i.e. 02.06PM

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Paul

Hi,

It seems the time is off by 2 and 1/2 hours. It now says that the GMT is 10:50am and in fact it is 8.30am.

very confused....

Paul,
It is a server time problem - I am in the UK but in order to get the right time on the forum I have set my timezone to -2 hrs (Mid Atlantic) and the forum times are all correct now.
Just adjust your timezone settings to GMT +5 - I think that is the right direction - and see if it gives the right time then?
