I was just wondering if it would be possible to make the first page of the gear forum into a bunch of sub-forums like the 'Cases' forum...something along the lines of 'Cases', 'Headphones', 'Car Adapting', 'Other Accesories' etc. And then not have the main Gear forum be postable because if it is postable, people won't bother with the categories. It's a forum that just seems to be really cluttered right now with people asking about adapting their iPods for their invidual model cars and repeated requests about certain models of this and that. With all the different accesories out there, it sometimes pushes threads that might help people down far enough that they just don't bother looking and post new threads on stuff that might be easier for them to find if there was a specific category for it. Of course, it's all a theory really since it often seems some people don't bother looking at all and just post their question even if a thread on their topic is right at the top. I know some people think there are too many forums here already but really I'm just talking about further seperating the Gear thread into something a little more organized. Anyway, it's just an idea I thought I'd toss out. If y'all have discussed it then I'm sorry to have taken up this space.
