Headphones w/ good cord management

I'm looking for a pair of headphones that you can easily store the cable on. I've seen a pair of MTV ear clip ons that attach to each other, and you can wrap the cable inbetween them, but they're hella uncomfortable. I also saw a pair on CNet that had a cord that retracted into a little do-hicky in the cord. Going back and forth from school, I need an easy way to reduce the entanglement. So if you have any suggestions based on personal experience or have heard of a compact, cord-friendly pair of headphones, earbuds, etc please post them.

Hmm... Like these?

I have no idea what they sound like, though.

Here's an excerpt from the MWNY2003 Conference report:

"Most of the iPod items on the show floor are pretty familiar to iPodloungers... I saw only a few items that I hadn't spotted before on the Internet. Therefore, you all might know about these; they just happened to slip under my radar. The coolest is the Podio... Macally's Retractable Earphones ($20), which is earphones with a cable that automatically winds itself up. It doesn't have anything to cover up the earbuds themselves, but it's pretty nice... definitely an improvement on having to untangle earbuds every time you put them on. The product literature claims they have good bass response and dynamic range... I don't think they'll supplant your 5.1 system (or Shure E2s), but this is one of those cases where functionality may trump audio quality."

Those look like more or less what I'm looking for. Does anyone know how big that little plastic block that they retract into is? It's hard to tell in the pics with no size comparison. Thanks for your help guys.

I have the rewindable Macally earphones and I like them a lot. They certainly make using the iPod much easier and more enjoyable and I don't have to worry about tripping over all the loose cables.

To me, they sound just as good as the ones from Apple. I'm not picky about sound, though, so your experience may vary.

I would also like to know... :)

Wow didn't know this was an old topic. I'm trying to find something like this product. Any new products that get the job done?

The MacAlly 'phones still exist:

...And JavoEdge has something similar:

Keep in mind, though, that sound quality is definitely not a strength of these cheap-o phones. :D
