Exercising with earphones?
Hey guys,
Just wanted any suggestions on which EARphones (not headphones) to buy for exercising. I currently have the sony 71's, but the closed-type format builds up sweat in the ear, ick.
Any suggestions for open type earphones?
btw, i'm sorry if i insulted anyone with the EARphones but i just cant stress the fact i hate headphones.

Well, I'd go with the Shure E2's for exercising...

Uhh... a lot of people may like those for exercising, dmt1, but you didn't read the guy's post. He doesn't want in-ear monitors because of sweat buildup.
OTOH, it seems that he's swapping the terms earphones and headphones.

I've gone through four sets of earphones for exercising. The apple ones fall out, the sonys I tried I hated--they either fell out when I would use the decline bench press or get knocked out by my arms.
So, after much research, I auditioned and purchased the bang and olufsen earphones. They are worth the expense--not only do they sound absolutely magnificent, they stay in place--running, lifting, whatever. They are extraordinarily comfortable, too. They are about 160.00 USD and they come with an extra set of foam covers, an extension cord for home use, and a three year warranty.
Good luck.

I put Jarba "ear gels" on my iPod earbuds. They have three sizes. They NEVER fall out and it also blocks out any outside sounds, cause it funnels the sound into your ear canal.

Where can I buy some of those Jarba ear gels you're talking about? I looked online a bit but came up with nothing...Any help is much appreciated!

Maybe it's Jabra, not Jarba? My Google search came up with a lot of cell phone headset accessories made by a company named Jabra.
