Sony EX71 help

For those that own the Sony's, I have a question about the cord. The box says adjustable, but I can't move the little silver connector at all. Without the extension cord, these seem really short. The left ear to the ipod is short, and there is a lot of slack between the right and the sliver oval thing. Is this normal?

Thanks

Hi Pokey

This is normal for most of sony headphones, the right side cord goes behind the neck. Thats is why it is longer.
They are designed to hang around the neck when not in use.

Thanks for the info. I just moved the cord behind my neck. I disconnected the extension cord and I'm using the remote to give me a longer reach (I don't why I didn't think of this in the first place). I wonder why they describe the cord as "adjustable". I guess they ment "extendable" with the extension cord.

Yeah, it will be more comfortable to put the right side behind your head, less cords to deal with up front.

Check out the little illustrations on the box. What they mean by 'adjustable' is that you wrap the excess cord around the mini cylindrical case to adjust the length. Pretty useless in my opinion, just makes a huge glob of wires.

You should have got a small pill shaped plastic case that can be used to hold the earbuds or wrap the cord around.
