Very nice!! A bit too much of that pesky clothing on them for my tasted, but still nice...And what, may I ask, would s UK'er be doing checking out Texas cheerleaders? Jacko's female rugby players not enough for you Bob?

mrm, "Guitar Center" is the only retailer I know of that carries them--don't know if you have one of those in Houston or not.

I bought mine sight unseen/untried off the web from DJMART--worked out great for me, they charge five bucks for shipping--you can't send them back though if you don't like them.

Ahh, OK. I wonder if they actually have them in the stores around here.

And actually, the one in Clear Lake is closer to me, though only a smidge closer than the one on Westheimer.

And yes, I'll be seeing the Texans this year. Got tickets for Texans-Patriots and Texans-Jets...

All the shure in-ear's (e1 - e5's) are made as professional in-ear monitors. That mean's you're not going to find them at most consumer stores.

Try looking for professional sound rental companies - they may be Shure dealers as well, so you can buy them. They may have a pair in stock so you can try them before you buy. They may also have some other options that you may like better.

You could always go to Shure in-ears webpage (http://164.109.27.207/psm/earphones/default.asp)

Well, your 2/3's right--the E1's and the E5's are made as professional in ear phones; the E2's were designed specifically for portable listening devices.
