Shure E2 same as Shure E2c?

Several sites, including eBay, sell "E2". Is that the same thing? Why the discrepancy in product #?
I'd like to buy them from $79 off of eBay (versus $99 from Shure direct).
Thanks! :)

They're the same, only difference is the case they come in. I bought mine from DJMART--$80.00, plus $5.00 for shipping...Just not a big fan of Ebay; I'd strongly recommend DJMart if you're still looking for vendors.

You can get them at a "Guitar Center" store for $80.

Anyone know what the difference in case is? I've seen the case on shures site that comes with the e2c, which is kinda a round zip case. But since im planning on getting the e2's from djmart.com, id like to know what the case is like that comes with them...if any.

Thanks!

I'll let you know when I get mine - shipped yesterday from eBay. DJ Mart was going to put a hold on the order because billing was different from shipping. I like to ship to work because at my apartment, they leave stuff outside.

I think Yahoo!-based merchants have a problem with that.

eBay was $79.99 + $5 UPS ground.

I'm sorry, I misswrote--the only difference is the PACKAGING; the cases are identical.

Both versions come with the same accessories - Only difference is in the external packaging.
