Argh, my iPod headphones just crapped out on me...
The right bud seems to be working fine but the sound coming out of the left bud is a bit screwed up. Don't know how to describe it exactly but it seems to be "treble-heavy" and missing the bass. Kind of sounds like the music coming out of that bud is going through some sort of sound tunnel first.
Oh well, after accidently smashing the buds into something so often (I HATE it when they get caught on something and --FWAP-- off they go) I guess this was an inevitability... I've had the thing for close to a year. Surprised they lasted this long. Had to superglue the left one at one point when it developed a crack and came apart. Luckily the superglue worked.
Does anybody know a good/cheap way to replace them? Should I just purchase Apple iPod replacements (there's an iPod store 45 mins away in VA) or are there better headphones out there that I can get? Anybody know?
The most frustrating part is that just a few days ago I was bragging about how reliable and "durable" my iPod was...

If you want earbuds go for the sennheiser mx400/500. They are very good, and is less then $20. Another good replacement would be the Sony D-66 "eggoes" (tjeck audiocubes.com). Dont buy the apple buds. They stink badly.

Yeah, if you liked the way the Apple buds sounded, then I'm sure you'll love the MX400/500, not to mention the fact that they're cheaper. Go for this pair.
