Sony MDR-NC11 Fontopia?
just wondering if anyones tried these and what they thought of them? im thinking about buying a set but its a big jump for me, i'v never spent more then 30$ on earphones in the past

I did look at these when I was Stateside in the Apple Store - I thought they may be a next step up from the EX70's I have just now, and with the noise cancelling may be a cheaper alternative to Bose - the fact that speech and other similar freq noise wasn't cancelled by the Bose has put me off them a bit.
I'm happy enough with the sound of the EX70's so I too would be interested in their noise cancelling abilities.

I guess if you like earbuds...
I think you can get a hell lot of a better phone then thoose for $150 bucks. What about the MDR-D66 Eggos instead (tjeck out http://www.audiocubes.com/product_info.php?cPath=23_26&products_id=41)
Or some nice Senn or AT. If you want earbuds tjeck out the Shure E2 or Ety E6.
