How long do you guys spend listening to it?

Hi, just got my ipod. On the first day it was blasting away for 10hrs.

Varies...2-3 hour intervals...The hard drive won't wear out, as long as you don't leave it mounted on your computer for extended periods of time. When you're listening to music, the hard drive spins up for a few seconds to buffer the data into the skip-free memory, and then it spins down.

i primarily bought my ipod because of my summer job. i'm basically filing tons of crap and doing misc jobs. anyway, on days that i'm working, i usually listen to my ipod anywhere from 6 to 10 hours.torchedlh at 2007-11-15 15:15:50 >

i use my ipod between classes, during classes, in my car everywhere i go, at work at least 4 hours a day and anywhere else that comes up! (waiting rooms, dentist, bus, trips) so all in all probably an avg of 16 hours a week if not more.deftdrummer1 at 2007-11-15 15:17:00 >
