Dropped for the first time!

Well, it was bound to happen sometime, with my coordination skills (or lack thereof). Today I accidentally dropped my eight-day-old 15 GB iPod from about hip height (it fell out of my pocket) to a linoleum kitchen floor. I was horrified. However, it still works beautifully. Also, there were no dents or even scratches -- like it didn't even happen. It was only wrapped in pink cling wrap, so I was pretty fortunate. These things are really durable!!! :)

uhh... you don't want to know what my ipod has gone throughit has been dropped repeated times, from repeated heights, on muliple different surfaces... it still works beautifully. it's a bit scratched up, but it's... 'rustic'... it's more classy, to me... looks less 'new'

christy, tontsdot:Be careful with your iPods. If you don't start treating them better we'll report you to the IPS (iPod Protective Services).
Once those guys get a hold of your iPod, you'll never get it back. You'll just get supervised visitation with it.

I dropped my new 3g iPod and had to bring in to get it repaired. tHey just gave me a new one, and I am upset because my older one had the /A and the ACTUAL blue backlight. My new one has just a white one. lol, its okay tho, just an iPod, still plays music.carlin at 2007-11-15 15:14:54 >
