i?m moving this to the classified section, even though it?s not a direct want-to-buy ad.

Try your local Target stores. My friend found a 10gb Ipod for $199 there.

I have a brand new (still sealed) Gen 2 - Mac format iPod that I could sell to you $250 shipped anywhere in the U.S.

PM me or reply here if you are still interested. (also, if you live in the Los Angeles Area, you can pick this up less the shipping costs).

Man, go for the refurb deal from Apple. Just like brand new, and with warranty I think.

I paid $212 for my 10GB on eBay, shipped to Canada, which was a bargain (included an incase leather slip case) and it was like-new. If I could have gotten a refurb for $199 I would have in a heartbeat!

I can't believe people are buying used ones for that much and new 'sealed' ones for even more!

In this Sunday's paper (week of 8/31/03), The Good Guys advertises the 2nd gen 10GB iPod for $249. Doesn't indicate Mac vs. PC availability. Good luck!

Remember if you're a student you can get a 3G 10Gig for $269. An extra 20 bucks for a new 3G iPod? Sure. ;-)
