H & K Soundsticks
Do they suck? Are the Creatures better?
Looking for relatively cheap speakers without a clue,

I haven't heard the Creatures, but I've owned Harman/Kardon SoundSticks for about two and a half years and love them. The only "negative" about them is they are rather directional in that if you're not in the "sweet spot", the highs aren't as crisp. But overall, I think they're great. And the design definitely complements the Mac.

Ditto. Love my SS but they are pretty pricey and keep in mind that they are USB so will not connect directly to the iPod if that's your intention. I've heard the creatures at an Apple Store and prefer the HK's but they still sound really good considering the price. I also think that the creatures have a mini stereo jack that will allow you to use them with just the iPod.
Cheers,
Macman.

ive had my soundsticks for around a year now and i definately love them. it was a choice between the creatures and them and i chose the sticks just for the overall look and sound quality. well the sound quality is about the same to me but i just really liked the soundsticks. so if your gonna shell out the money go for them.
