Wireless transmission of IPOD to an amp

I've been using my IPOD to dj events and am sick of rolling and unrolling a lot of cable to connect the device to the amp (which is built into the speakers). Can anyone guide me to a place where transmitters are sold that will do the trick for me? Thank you in advance.

since you're into pro audio. stop by your local pro audio store and look at their wireless gear. for example, you can use a shure wireless body pack systm (the kind guitarist use). simply plug the ipod in the 1/4" inpunt (you'll need a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter) of the body pack and you're good to go. if it fits, you could mount the receiver on your speaker system. check out the shure website too.http://www.shure.com
